About Qcast
Qcast is a video-based question-and-answer platform founded by Shabazz Graham and Tayo Dada. Built around the belief that genuine conversations create better connections, the platform enables organisations to engage audiences through structured video responses, helping businesses capture insights, discover talent and build stronger relationships at scale.
A Leap of Faith
For many growing businesses, exhibiting at an event is a leap of faith. It requires time, investment and confidence, with no guarantee of what opportunities may follow.
That was the position Qcast found itself in when it exhibited at the MSDUK Conference and Business Exhibition in 2022.
During the event, Tayo noticed a group of representatives from a global technology company and decided to introduce himself.
"I spotted a group of staff onsite, walked straight over, and invited them to our booth. They came. They asked sharp questions. Shabazz and I answered every one with confidence."
What began as a brief conversation would prove to be a defining moment for the business.
From Conversation to Collaboration
Following the event, the company invited Qcast to showcase its platform at a conference in the United States, creating an opportunity that became an important milestone in the company's growth.
As Tayo recalls: "They promised a follow up call and, even then, I wasn't holding my breath. But they called. They invited us to a conference in the US to showcase the Qcast platform, and we've worked together ever since."
Today, Qcast works with several global organisations, including a leading technology company, demonstrating how a single conversation can evolve into a long-term commercial relationship when innovative businesses connect with the right people.
The Power of Connection
For Qcast, the value of the MSDUK network was about far more than exhibiting. It was the opportunity to engage directly with corporate decision-makers in an environment where meaningful business relationships could develop naturally.
Reflecting on the experience, Tayo said: "It's not often that I write an article, but I wanted to express my gratitude to MSDUK for creating a forum where suppliers can actually meet corporates."
Qcast's journey is a reminder that concrete business opportunities often begin with a single conversation.
