Our Values

What we stand for

Our work is routed in fairness, equality and respect. The four key principles that guide how we work, how we partner, and how we measure success are:

01

Inclusion

We champion equal access to opportunity for all small and minority-owned businesses across every sector and every supply chain.

02

Community

We believe real change happens when buyers, suppliers and funders work together towards a shared goal and truly support each other on this journey.

03

Impact

We measure success in contracts won, businesses grown and communities strengthened.

04

Integrity

We champion systemic commitment to fairness, equity and accountability in economic participation.

Our growth

Our story

MSDUK was founded in 2006 as the UK’s first organisation focused on unlocking supply chains for minority-owned businesses. At the time, spend with suppliers from underrepresented groups was widely believed to be below 1%, but largely unmeasured. Twenty years on, greater awareness, accountability and ambition have emerged - and MSDUK has been at the heart of that progress.
