The team are dedicated to empowering their clients to engage in collaborative efforts, cultivate strategic thinking, and foster a strong team culture. Bracket plays a pivotal role in helping its clients channel their energy effectively to facilitate progress.
In 2021, Bracket embarked on a journey as a member of MSDUK. Initially, Alison Coward, Bracket’s founder, discovered MSDUK through the Black Founders Hub, a group focused on supporting and connecting black entrepreneurs. This introduction sparked Alison’s interest in the opportunities that MSDUK had to offer.
Shortly after joining MSDUK, Alison attended the virtual conference. This allowed her to explore the vast network of corporate members within the MSDUK network and connect with them through MSDUK’s one-to-one meeting booking facility. One such meeting was held with Richard and Matt from Enterprise Mobility. During this meeting, Richard expressed an interest in collaborating with Bracket to support various teams across the company.
“Before joining MSDUK, I hadn’t realised how many corporate organisations were actively looking to connect with diverse-owned businesses. I’ve learned so much about building these types of relationships and how to ensure that Bracket is ready to supply”
Following the initial meeting with Enterprise Mobility, Alison was then introduced to Leigh Lafever-Ayer, HR Director UK and Ireland. The discussions initially revolved around Bracket becoming a training supplier to Enterprise Mobility, but a deeper engagement soon emerged as both parties recognised the potential for transformative change.
Bracket and Enterprise Mobility embarked on a partnership that aimed to reboot the HR culture within the organisation. Leigh recognised the need for a cultural reset with her HR team, particularly in the post-pandemic era, and Bracket emerged as the ideal facilitation partner.
The programme kicked off with Bracket, in collaboration with Enterprise Mobility providing several crucial elements. The main areas included:
Cultural Evaluation: A comprehensive evaluation of the existing culture within the team, along with an exploration of future growth and improvement opportunities.
Alignment Workshop: An immersive half-day alignment workshop that audited the existing culture, assessed the evolving business landscape, and explored how the role of the Group HR Manager team had changed.
Team Building: Fostering deeper connections among the team, identifying habits, exchanging ideas, and committing to seeking inspiration from wider networks and research.
Learning and Development Planning: Establishing a collective plan for learning and development to inspire confident leadership and ensure the team’s future growth.
Change Response Exploration: Examining how the team responds to change and future opportunities to support the wider organisation effectively.
The programme delivered significant results:
A 39% increase in sharing information more effectively as a team.
A 26% increase in the team’s likelihood to regularly look for opportunities to innovate.
A 34% increase in time and space for effective work.
Additionally, colleagues also reported a 10% upward shift in their positive perception of team culture. The team became more creative, embraced innovation, and actively sought new ideas from external sources and networks. By equipping them with tools and frameworks to benchmark great team culture, they became more adept at challenging themselves and the wider organisation, resulting in better ways of working.
Bracket ‘s journey with MSDUK played a pivotal role in connecting them with Enterprise Mobility, leading to this transformative partnership. Through MSDUK, Bracket accessed a network of corporate members, learned about supplier diversity, and ultimately found a strategic partner. Bracket’s journey with MSDUK resulted in a transformative partnership with Enterprise Mobility creating a cultural reset and an enhanced HR culture within the organisation. The power of connections, diversity in suppliers, and the impact of proactive engagement within the MSDUK network became easily accessible tools for Bracket.
