The MSDUK Meet the Buyer is one of our flagship annual events bringing our entire corporate and business network together. Part of the MSDUK procurement hub, it provides a unique opportunity for Corporate Buyers and Ethnic Minority Owned Businesses to meet and form relationships over 1-2-1 meetings as well as network with others in the network.

In April 2019, we held our biggest meet the buyer event-to-date at Jury’s Inn London Holborn Hotel (formerly Grange Holborn). It brought together 23corporate buyers, 70suppliers and housed 641-2-1 meetings!

The event kicked off with an icebreaker, arranged to ensure every participant got to know as many people as they could. Throughout the day, MSDUK members enjoyed the separate networking room in between panel sessions and 1-2-1 meetings.

The panel session after lunch, on ‘how to win business’, was a particular favourite. It brought together procurement professionals and entrepreneurs who shared stories and case study examples of winning corporate business.
