The MSDUK 2012 conference is the benchmark event for
Supplier Diversity in the UK. As the UK's leading supplier
diversity organisation we have access to the widest knowledge pool of corporate, public and ethnic minority speakers on the subject.
This year the conference will take place over one full day, comprising of three main elements - Business Opportunity Fair, Knowledge Forum and the glittering Awards Dinner.

The exhibition booths are available to all corporate members and to certified ethnic minority businesses for only £300+VAT.
All booths are sold on a first come first served basis so don't delay in booking your place!
All exhibitors will receive a 3m x 2m display panel booth which consists of two chairs, one 6-foot draped table, name board,
2 spot lights and one 13A socket. The maximum available power is 500w (3A) per stand which is sufficient for a laptop and/or medium
sized LCD/Plasma screen.

Byron founded Corium Solutions Ltd in October 2001 and the company quickly grew into a worldwide
supplier of specialty chemicals to the leather trade. Since 2007 Byron has expanded the operations after the development
of the Award-Winning Micro-Fresh - a recognised antibacterial. Micro-Fresh has been incorporated into surfaces, clothing, footwear,
sportswear and furniture and has proven instrumental in fighting infections in hospitals/healthcare environments and for promoting
wellness in the workplace. Micro-Fresh has expanded its operations into 3 offices in China, 3 in India and into Eastern (Prague) and

Ian joined the Department in September 2011 and leads on business engagement activities for the
BIS Local Team, a satellite office of the Department covering the East Midlands and the South East Midlands.
Ian is a Business Economist with over 20 years of experience
in the fields' economic policy, economic development and growth, specialising in working within publicly funded business support.
Ian has held prior positions in local government, under various Governments delivering economic development funded programmes,
the cooperative sector, a Chamber of Commerce and for a Training and Enterprise Council.
Lesley is employed at Cummins as a Supply Chain Director. She embarked upon her career with Cummins in 1997 and since then has held various supply chain roles of increasing responsibility. Lesley is on the Board of Directors for Minority Supplier Development UK. She holds a BA in Business & Finance and an MBA, is MCIPS certified (member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) and continued her professional development more recently with the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM).
Lora is Head of Strategy and Operations within the Procurement team at PricewaterhouseCoopers
LLP (PwC). Since joining the firm Lora has become increasingly involved in the firms supply chain activity
around matters relating to corporate sustainability with a focus on diversity. She led the project which resulted
in the firm's success in achieving the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) Gold Accreditation
where sustainability and diversity were key metrics. Lora was also a member of the team who attained the
Diversity Works for London gold standard for PwC's pioneering approach to diversity in the workplace,
supply chain and marketplace.
Sameer dubbed the 'the game changer' within the legal industry became the Senior Partner and
Owner of Douglas Wemyss Solicitors in 2008 and since has taken the firm from strength to strength.
His innovative ideas have led to him launching a range of unique legal products and services that have
revolutionized the legal industry by embracing changes with positive outcomes. This has led to the firm
winning local and national awards including Leicestershire Law Firm of the Year 2011.
Sameer's entrepreneurial approach to business has seen him set up numerous other businesses and he also actively supports and mentors young entrepreneurs and new business start-ups. His leadership skills were acknowledged when he was named the Highly Commended Leader of the Year 2011 by the honourable Law Society of England & Wales.
Samer is a procurement and supply professional with over 14 years' experience in this field.
Samer currently works as a procurement manager in Capital One (Europe) PLC where he looks after
multiple categories of spend, and leads the supplier diversity effort for Capital One in the UK. Prior to Samer's work
at Capital One, Samer worked in different sectors across multiple geographies, which include consulting,
manufacturing, telecommunications and logistics, and was based in various locations including Saudi Arabia,
Kuwait and Jordan.
Sanat started Storwell Systems Ltd in 1982; they are specialists in storage and secure steel partitioning systems and currently its owner and Managing Director. Sanat has also set up a number of other new business start-ups ranging from engineering companies to commercial & residential property development.
One of Sanat's interests is to promote and provide opportunities for young people to experience and
learn about Classical Asian Dance & Music. He is the Chairman and on the Board of The Chitraleka Dance Company which works throughout the Midlands providing
School workshops, a Training Academy and major Touring Dance productions.
Satnam created Maximus IT, a specialist recruitment agency that focuses on the ERP sector.
Satnam has over nearly 20 years' experience in Recruitment; he used his skills, passion and knowledge
to start his own business that has gone from strength to strength. Maximus is an Oracle Gold Partner which
specialises in recruitment in the ERP & Database sectors, specifically ORACLE and SAP. Maximus handle a
complete range of Oracle and SAP jobs, both in the UK and around the globe in such key markets as the
Middle East and continental Europe.
Sujata is co-Founder/Director of the charity Giving World,
www.givingworldonline.com, set up in 2001.
Working in partnership with a network of companies and charities/community groups, the charity's simple formula
is to reduce waste and hardship by matching unwanted business goods with people who can really use them,
including disabled children, families on low incomes, the homeless and the elderly. Giving World was Highly
Commended by the National Beacon prize 2010; finalists in the Guardian Charity awards 2009 and
winner of a Green Life Award 2009.
