To assist in achieving our primary mission and objectives, MSDUK has formed key strategic partnerships with the following organisations.

Partners

NMSDC
  National Minority Supplier Diversity Council

Partnering MSDUK is the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), USA. The NMSDC is one of America’s leading business membership organisations, providing a direct link between corporate America and minority-owned businesses for their mutual benefit.

Chartered in 1972 to provide increased procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses of
all sizes, the NMSDC network today includes a National Office in New York and 39 regional councils across the country. There are 3,500 corporate members throughout the network, including most of America's largest publicly-owned, privately-owned and foreign-owned companies, as well as universities, hospitals and other buying institutions. In 2004, NMSDC’s corporation members’ purchases from minority businesses exceeded $87.4 billion. NMSDC brings a unique strategic partnership in this venture and shares its knowledge on minority business development with MSDUK as well as promoting MSDUK’s activities amongst its corporate members, many of whom have their subsidiaries in the UK.
East Midlands Development Agency
  East Midlands Development Agency

East Midlands Development Agency (emda) is one of nine Regional Development Agencies in England. They were set up by the Government in April 1999 to bring a regional focus to economic development. Being the lead agency in the UK to support ethnic minority businesses, emda’s investment in and strategic support to the SDEM programme was fundamental to the success of the initiative. MSDUK looks forward to working with emda in the future to leverage support from other regional development agencies and to provide continuity in funding the core activities of the organisation.
