Daryl Scales

Daryl Scales, Enterprise Rent-a-Car

Daryl joined Enterprise Rent-a-Car in 1986 as a Group Auditor in the corporate office based in St Louis, USA. In 1988, Daryl opened Enterprise’s operation in New York as a Regional Controller. In 1994, he returned to the Corporate Office as a Corporate Business Manager. As a Corporate Business Manager Daryl not only worked with all the Business Managers in a specific territory within the US, but was also responsible for project management for a number of information systems initiatives as well as overseeing other new corporate initiatives and their successful roll-out to the company’s 100 plus divisions.

Daryl was promoted to Assistant Vice President-Business Management in 1996. Daryl is one of the original Enterprise employees who relocated to London to open Enterprise’s first UK office in September 1997. In February 2005, Daryl was promoted to Vice President - Finance, UK/Ireland.

A native of St Louis, Missouri, Daryl received a Bachelors of Science degree in accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1984.

Liz Cross

Liz Cross, BT

Liz Cross is Head of Strategy and Policy on CSR for Procurement at BT.

Liz joined BT in 1980 as a buyer, working in different procurement roles including strategic sourcing, marketing communications, IT and global networks.

More recently Liz changed roles, now responsible for sustainability in procurement across BT, working with global buying teams and Corporate Social Responsibility specialists. She leads on procurement strategy and policy on supplier diversity, climate change, environmental management and labour standards.

Liz worked on the Government Task Force on Sustainable Procurement, representing BT on the Suppliers Working Group.

Liz has a degree in chemistry and is a member of CIPS the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply

 
IBM
Harry Stanton

Harry Stanton, IBM

Harry is the Client Services Procurement Manager for IBM in the UK, Ireland and South Africa.

Harry joined IBM for the second time in 1996, he has worked for IBM for a total of 26 years. He has had a broad range of management roles in IBMSmanufacturing Plants in Scotland and Ireland and in the UK services business.

Prior to his current role in Portsmouth, which Harry took up in 2006, he worked in Ireland for three years running the Supply Chain Operations team in the Server manufacturing facility in the Dublin Campus.
